Josh Reeves – Owner of JMR Carpentry

Born and raised in Cornwall by an incredible community, this is my home. I studied at Falmouth University and toured with regional theatre groups before spending a decade in London working behind the scenes at major venues like The Old Vic, The Bridge Theatre, and The Globe Theatre. As a carpenter and Head of Stage, I built everything from detailed furniture to a moving house. In 2021, I seized the chance to return to Cornwall with my family for a major theatre role, starting an incredible three-year chapter. Seeking a change, I eventually left theatre behind to launch JMR-Carpentry. JMR stands for Joshua Michael Reeves, a company dedicated to bringing the magic, creativity, and theatrical design I’ve learned directly into your life.
